Examinations
After the assessment appointment, the next step shall be to have routine examinations. These are requested for any kind of surgery, whether the simple removal of a boil or an abdominoplasty.
It is through these tests that the surgeon shall be able to identify the health conditions of the patient and disorders such as anaemia and diabetes, infections, heart problems and coagulation disorders, as also pulmonary and renal problems and pregnancy.
If necessary, a request shall be made for specific examinations such as ultrasound of the abdominal wall and mammography. All this care is essential so that there may be greater safety for the Plastic Surgery patient.
